Padilla Bay

Some more cold, dry, clear weather over the weekend - so yesterday drove about an hour north to an area called Padilla Bay.  It's a place I'm familiar with and have been to plenty of times before - I like the trails, I like the views and I like the wildlife.  Yesterday was no exception, with plenty of bird life on display, including some bald eagles which are always great to see.  I essentially did 2 hikes - a 4.5 mile walk shoreline walk, and a 2.5 mile island walk - with the freezing temperatures, suitably invigorating!
