Since a lot of shows are currently wrapping up their seasons - just in time for the start of the Summer TV season which unofficially begins after Memorial Day - time for a quick update of some of the better shows I'm watching:
- Patrick Melrose: dark, depressing, excellent
- Killing Eve: female spin on classic spy genre
- Little Women: yet another adaptation, but still very moving
- The Circus: the best weekly political show
- Westworld: still hanging in there
- Billions: the best soap opera
- The Americans: the last series of possibly one of the most underrated, under appreciated and under watched shows ever
- Happy Valley: bleak British northern cop drama
I'm not seeing a lot of must-see TV this summer, so no excuses for not getting out more this summer!
