Things that don’t surprise me:
- That the Korean summit collapsed
- Anything that Trump, or anyone in Trump’s government, says or does
- How pathetic the Republican Party has become
- That Brexit isn’t going smoothly
- That England’s world cup squad is underwhelming and their most important player is going to be hampered by being captain
- That more male celebrities are being accused of misconduct
- That NFL owners have forced through laws to prevent the right of protest by NFL players
- That mass shootings in the US will continue to occur without any meaningful legislative efforts to prevent them
- That large swathes of the US people will always inexplicably support Trump, because Americans are stupid
- That rents continue to rise (I’ve seen ads for 2-bedroom apartments in downtown Seattle for > $8000 per month!)
