We haven't had many post-2000 selections here, so time to change that. And as a bonus, it's a double whammy - with 2 remarkably similar sounding songs from the mid to late 2000's. And they sound the same despite one band coming from Nashville and the other from the Welsh valleys. Weird to think that these are about 15 years old now, a time when I was buying a lot of CDs and was a lot more invested in current music. I definitely can't say that now. I can't tell whether music was just better this short time ago, or that I have aged and my tastes have changed dramatically since.
