As of this evening, this is the forecast for Christmas Day:
I even used Celsius for your convenience. So, about a 50% chance of snow. But I don't really care about whether I have a White Christmas or not, it's the forecast for the week after that has me really worried:
Of course a lot could change between now and then, but it is quite clear that we are about to get some incredibly cold temperatures. Possibly record-breaking cold temperatures in certain areas. Which would be the perfect ending for a year where we've already broken various records including snowiest day, rainiest day, highest temperature, streak of dry days, wettest autumn. Climate change deniers can suck on it.
