I've said this before, and I'll say it again, but why couldn't Martin Luther King Jr have been born in a summer month rather than the middle of January. It is such a waste of a bank holiday - just a few weeks after our Christmas shutdown, and in the middle of January when the weather is more often than not crappy. Surprisingly today was dry, so I was able to go out for a walk - but really it was the kind of walk that I would have done on a work day anyway. Actually, this week looks pretty good weather-wise - at least compared to how it's been since Christmas - so I should be able to get out quite a bit. But then we still have cold and snow in the forecast next week, so I best make the most of it while I can.
