I know you've had some snow in the UK recently. We were supposed to get some here. Did we get any? Did we heck. First we were supposed to get some on Sunday. That never happened. Then we were supposed to get some last night. That never happened. I know we are prone to a lot of microclimates here, but I think almost everywhere west of the Cascades below a sensible elevation didn't get a single flake. A sad indictment on the quality of local weather forecasting. The Met Office is so far ahead of anything we have here, on either a local or national level. And what is worst is the ridiculous and unnecessarily comprehensive coverage of the supposed upcoming snowpocalypse on the local news. What an absolute bust.
