Impulsiveness

The joy of something getting delivered today that you had ordered impulsively over 6 months ago and almost forgotten about.

Then the dawning realization that you’ve horribly overspent on something that you’re probably never going to watch, is maybe not as “limited” as you’d like to think, and which appears to be very poorly constructed.  A sad way to commemorate the end of “TV’s Golden Age” or “TV monoculture” (I didn’t coin this term, but I appreciate it), and probably also the last boxset I ever purchase (until Succession wraps up).  Now, and especially now with the recent addition of Apple TV+ and Disney+, we are in the era of the Streaming Wars – and I do not like it one bit.
