Company Gift

We got a company gift today, not so much for the holiday as for some drug launch.  So expectations were low.  And sure enough, it was one of the things we've received numerous times in the past - a bag, this time a sling bag rather than a rucksack.  But wait a second, the bag is quite heavy - what do we have inside?  Too heavy for some of the other usual items we get - an item of clothing or a water bottle.  How exciting.  So what is it?  And .... it's a survival kit.  WTF.  Yes, some "essential survival tools should the need ever arise" including a tent, a blanket, drinking water, and energy bars.  Plus a solar-powered battery charger.  So, something I'm going to stick in a cupboard and probably never touch again.  Great.  Or am I just a total ingrate?  Yes.
