Operation Desert Stormy

I'm not going to discuss the pros and cons of the US (and France and UK) actions in Syria.  All I'm going to say is that Trump's teasing of action all week and the eventual airstrikes do seem like an awfully convenient distraction from all his current woes at home.  Think porn stars, FBI raids, resignations, former FBI director memoirs.  If and how Russia retaliates is going to be interesting.  It feels like this is the closest to World War III we've even been in my lifetime - and having Trump in charge hardly inspires confidence that this is going to end well.  I bet China is loving it.
