Missed My Calling

Just watched the film Tinker Tailor Solider Spy again, a good film and an absolutely stacked cast.  It made me want to (a) read more John le Carre novels, and (b) watch the BBC series with Alec Guinness.  What with my love for James Bond, it has dawned on me (perhaps 20 years too late!) that I wish I had a career in the spy game.  I think I would have made a great analyst.  Admittedly the chance of me being recruited were (and are) slim to none - I have neither the upper class breeding nor the Oxbridge education.  But I can dream.
