Supermoon

There was a supermoon last week, and I discovered a few things.  Firstly, that the moon didn't seem particularly bigger.  Maybe brighter, but not bigger.  Secondly, that it was impossible - or at least I found it impossible - to take a decent photo of the moon from my iPhone.  Hence no photo attached here.  Some internet searching suggests that it's possible to get a decent photo with certain settings, and I'd probably need to use a tripod.  But the best photos are when you combine the iPhone with a telescope.  And that seems like a lot of - maybe too much - effort.
