I had advanced notice of this, but today the Royal Mint announced a new seven-coin collection to celebrate 60 years of James Bond. So yep, that's more money down the drain for collectors like me. I didn't go for the 2 oz gold proof set (which for the full collection would cost just over 37 thousand pounds), but have shelled out on a silver proof set. Probably another unwise investment. Maybe I should spend my money in better ways. Like buying a home. Whatever.
