Today felt like the first sunny day we've had for absolutely ages. Indeed, I read somewhere it was actually the sunniest day we've had since Halloween. Which says a lot about how utterly miserable it's been here over the last few months. Sadly we've got rain back in the forecast for the week ahead. Just what we need - with heavy snow and avalanches having closed all the mountain passes, and many areas in our state suffering from some serious flooding, we had effectively been cut off from the rest of the country. At least the temperatures are staying well above freezing - the snow feels like a distant memory now.
