Big, big game on Sunday – Palace vs Hull.  The main thing – Hull cannot win.  Any other result is enough.  Based on Palace’s last 3 games, I’m worried.  But Man U winning today and going through to the Europa League final is good – Palace’s last game is against them, which is 3 days before the Europa League Final, so if Palace need a result in that game then Man U will hopefully be resting all their players for the final.  But I hope it doesn’t come to that.  This is an exciting sporting time – end of football and rugby seasons, basketball playoffs, ice hockey playoffs.  Make the most of it, because in a few weeks’ time we’re going to have nothing other than the monotony of baseball – no major sporting events or tournaments.  Those are the dark times – having to resort to watching secondary sports like motor racing and tennis.  Fingers crossed for some decent weather here by then – so no excuses to not stay in (minus all the million things I need to organize, unbox and buy for my new accommodations).
