Dark Tower

I'm excited by Stephen King's The Dark Tower series being adapted into a film - with Idris Elba as The Gunslinger no less - but very apprehensive that the film (and accompanying television series) will not be anywhere near as good as what is probably Stephen King's best work (I've read all 8 books in the series).  The trailer for the film dropped today.  I wasn't blown away with it - that doesn't bode well.  Adaptions of Stephen King's books into films are either very good or very bad - hopefully this will be more like The Shawshank Redemption than Dreamcatcher
