FRA 1-0 BEL

Well, that was disappointing.  I had high hopes for this game - and went to a lot of time and effort to successfully avoid the score all afternoon at work.  And when I finally got round to watching the game this evening, it was entirely unmemorable.  For so many good players on the pitch, not that many moments of sublime skill - unless you count French defending.  Yet another set play goal deciding a game.  An underwhelming performance from the Belgian "golden generation".  Although France will be the favorites whether they are facing England or Croatia in the final, they are beatable.
