... where playing memorable, enjoyable and competitive games of cards with relatives is something we always used to do, but sadly appears now to be a thing of the past. It's the time of year where I think of and miss my grandpa the most, who was always the life and soul of these games. I feel most sad for my mom, who I think really wants to relive this but cannot as there just isn't the same desire to do so in the modern iteration of our family now. Which is a real shame.
