I got my nephew some geodes to smash open for his birthday, and I've got to be honest and say that I'm kind of jealous. So I think I'm going to get some of my own. I've always been interested in geology - I like visiting and photographing interesting geological features, and I own plenty of rocks and crystals. Did I miss my calling? I only got a B in GCSE Geography, so I never really considered pursuing it further. I already regret dropping A-Level History for A-Level Physics. Maybe this is another regret? I always wonder whether there was ever a career out there for me that I would actually be passionate about - geography and history are definitely more interesting to me than math(s) and the sciences.
