Milk Duds

Another in the series of American candies - and we have a classic today: Milk Duds.  Big discs of chocolate-covered caramel, hard and chewy, and have been around for ages.  I have no idea what a "Dud" is, and "Milk" is also something of a stretch, but they make for a good road trip candy, and apparently are also a popular movie-watching treat.  All I know is that they are incredibly filling, which probably means they are absolutely not good for you!
