We were under an excessive heat watch from this evening until Thursday, but I've just checked my weather app and it looks like it's been downgraded to a heat advisory from tonight until Tuesday night. Either way, the hottest weather of the year for us so far. But, relative to other heatwaves we've had, this one doesn't seem too bad. Daytime temperatures of around 33 C, and overnight temperatures around 18 C. That is manageable. And indeed, summer here has been very pleasant this year without any extreme weather. Which is a relative surprise. Cue an absolutely terrible fall and winter.
