Air Quality Alert

We now have an air quality alert in effect from Saturday through Monday.  I guess all the smoke from the fires in the north of the state and Canada is coming in our direction.  The alert says that air quality may reach unhealthy levels or worse, and that everyone should take steps to reduce exposure.  Limit time outside, avoid strenuous outdoor activity, etc.  Hmmm, well that's not going to stop me going out on some hikes over the weekend.  Particularly as I got my new temporary glasses today, so I can actually see properly for the first time in a couple of weeks and am actually safe to drive.  I can't tell you what a relief that is.
