A strange day of doing nothing today. I had woken up early in anticipation of hearing construction noise, and was all prepared to call the non-emergency line to make a noise complaint. But, surprisingly, no noise materialized today. Perhaps this was due to the wet and miserable weather. That was my excuse for not going out today anyway. And then I somehow frittered away the rest of the day. Didn't even make a start on my tax return - something I have to complete before the mid-April deadline. And something I hate doing - probably why I'm putting it off until the last possible moment.
