I don't like kowtowing to tech pressure, but with Windows 10 support ending soon I have reluctantly upgraded my laptop to Windows 11 today. It didn't take me nearly as long as I feared to install the updates, but the proper test will be to see whether my laptop performance is affected by the upgrade. The last time I updated Windows on a laptop, it effectively slowed down my laptop so much that it was useless and I had to buy a new one. But at least I've been using Windows 11 on my work laptop for a while, so I'm used to the (somewhat minor) differences between Windows 10 and Windows 11.
