A very random day where the temperatures got into the 90's (mid-30's Celsius). But only for one day. It was 20 degrees cooler yesterday, and it will be 20 degrees cooler tomorrow. Surreal. It was too hot even to go for a lunchtime walk. And we were under a severe weather alert today - a red flag warning. Because of gusty winds, high temperatures and low relative humidity, the fire risk is very high. Just last weekend I had put away my AC units for the year - perhaps I should have left them out for one more week. It's going to be an uncomfortably hot night...
