There are some things that have not come as a surprise now that I'm working from home full time. I expected my utility bills to be higher, and they are. I expected my amount of human interaction to decrease, and it has. I expected my work-life balance to get worse, and it has. But there are other things that I didn't see coming. And the last few weeks are a great example. I need to buy more shorts. Now that I have no office to go into, as we get into the warmer months of the year then I have absolutely no need to wear trousers most days. This consideration never even crossed my mind. Just one of the many joys of working from home.
