I think I've been watching too many Karen videos, because now my YouTube feed is full of them. And even though there are loads of videos, a lot of the most viewed ones are the same. So why am I watching so many of these videos? I haven't encountered many Karens in the wild, so perhaps I'm just curious. Maybe on some level I'm worried that I could easily become a Karen (or, more accurately, a Kevin) - I'm a stickler for rules, so in some of the situations I empathize with the Karens (though I'm not sure I would ever act as condescending or entitled as these people. And I would never rage like they do - at least not in public). Also, I am thankful that I don't have to deal with these people on any sort of regular basis - whether at work, as a neighbo(u)r or whatever. And it doesn't surprise me that you find so many Karens in the US - after all, these rude/racist middle-class white women are almost definitely Trump supporters.
