Au Revoir Au Revoir

I saw the headline “Stars flock to Gorden Kaye’s funeral to pay tribute to ‘Allo Allo! Star” yesterday.  And it got me thinking, which “stars” would be attending the funeral of Rene Artois?  Sure, Yvette Carte-Blanche and Mimi Labonq would be there – but who else?  A bit like Dad’s Army, there simply aren’t many of them left.  I like to think that Michelle of the Resistance, Lieutenant Gruber, Captain Bertorelli (What a mistake-a to make-a!), Herr Flick, Helga, Officer Crabtree (Good moaning!  I was just pissing by.) and Fairfax and Carstairs were all in attendance.  And I hope he was buried with a copy of “The Fallen Madonna (With the Big Boobies)” by Van Klomp.  Classic.  RIP.
