No trick and treaters tonight mercifully. Thank god, as the only candy I have to give away is my British candy - and I'm not going to waste that on any kids. It probably doesn't help that it's a wet and miserable evening. I was also just thinking that I haven't been to a Halloween party for absolutely ages. And even if I was, I wouldn't have a costume to wear. I don't think I could even improvise something with what I have in my closet. And, for some reason, that makes me really sad and makes me want to buy an emergency fancy dress outfit that I'll probably never use. Which is even sadder.
