Goodness gracious mr, a one-day London travelcard from Godalming is now priced over 40 pounds. What an absolute swizz. Especially when every weekend I will have to endure a bus replacement service for part of the way thanks to an ungodly amount of engineering work. And it's not like it's a great service. What is the point of having a quiet carriage if absolutely no one makes any attempt to be quiet. Whether it's loud conversation, a loud phone call, or playing loud videos on your phone - people just suck.
