Since the early morning, it's been raining almost constantly here. Not a heavy and short tropical downpour that you might expect at this time of year, but a persistent steady rainfall. If it wasn't so humid, it would feel very autumnal. At least it has brought the temperatures somewhat down. But as I write this about 10.30 pm, I've heard what sounded like a heavy branch snapping off from one of the trees nearby. There is some wind, but it's not particularly strong. It's too dark to see anything right now, so I guess I'll check the damage out tomorrow. Hopefully nothing to worry about.
