I don't know what the expiration date is for a Chromebook, but my current one - indeed the one I'm currently writing this blog on - has run into problems. The sound has stopped working. As someone who watches way too many YouTube videos, this is a problem. Now I do like owning a Chromebook - they are quicker, cheaper and less of a hassle than a laptop. But after about 5 years of use, now I think I need to get a replacement one. And I think this time it would be good to not go for the cheapest of the cheap models, but instead something a bit more sturdy and that will last me a bit longer. But it feels like yet another needless expense.
