I haven't been to downtown Seattle for a while now - especially not the "revitalized" waterfront. But I'd like to check it out one of these weekends - maybe I can even park at one of the transit stations and take the light rail there. This weekend Overlook Walk opened - a park that connects the waterfront with downtown - a project that cost $70 million. Even though the waterfront was already connected to downtown - but I assume this new construction makes it a bit easier to get between the two. But I suspect even all that money won't fix all the problems downtown - like the homelessness and open drug use.
