One last thought on the FA Cup. Feel a bit sad that my Dad didn't get to experience the win. He wouldn't have enjoyed the game - too nerve-wracking - but would have loved the result. I'm not a lifelong supporter, but for fans like him that have been through the wringer with Palace - the ups and downs, relegation, financial crises, previous heartbreak, etc - they are the ones that really deserve to appreciate and enjoy the cup win more than a Johnny-come-lately like myself. So wherever you are now Dad, hope you were able to celebrate the win.
