The Sunday before Memorial Day is supposedly the biggest day of the year for motor-racing. It starts with the Monaco Grand Prix - which even by Formula 1 standards is a boring procession. And then we have the Indy 500 - "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing". Spoiler alert, it isn't. And finally we have the Coca Cola 600 - the longest race in the NASCAR calendar. And it is long, way too long (today's race lasted about 5 hours!). It was also the first ever NASCAR race to be shown exclusively on Amazon Prime - another reason not to bother watching. So, in conclusion, I didn't watch much motor-racing today.
