In a totally avoidable situation, I've been getting a neighbo(u)r's packages delivered to me. Which makes me nervous that they could get packages meant for me. I managed to intercept the delivery driver last night, but previously I had to carry the package over to the neighbor myself the next day. The problem is that our house numbers are so similar, 2109 vs 2209. And that there are a lot of inexperienced and useless delivery drivers at this time of year - and delivering in the dark, where house numbers are not so easy to see. But the most frustrating thing is that our house numbers didn't need to be so similar - the other one is a new house (or, more specifically, a garage/workspace that has been converted into a mini-home), so presumably they could have given it a number that didn't end in 09. Stupid.
