I know physical media is increasingly a thing of the past - but I like limited edition or collectors edition movie releases on Blu-ray or 4k. I own quite a few, and am always looking to add to my collection - though I am quite fussy about which films I will shell out for. A couple of examples I've recently ordered (or pre-ordered) - Pulp Fiction 30th Anniversary Collector's Edition, and No Country for Old Men (Criterion Collection). Back when I subscribed to Empire magazine, I used to be quite on top of releases and release dates - but that isn't the case anymore. And that can be frustrating, because I miss out. For example, a limited edition version of The Blair Witch Project was released last month. I really want this - but it is sold out everywhere by the time I found out about it. I've signed up in a few places to be notified when it becomes available again, but unlikely for a limited edition release. However I can hope, especially since this particular release had an audio issue so they are having to replace discs - so hopefully fixed versions of this release will become available in the future.
