I've decided that I want to get a Thanksgiving meal - and now is the time I need to preorder it. I have several options. There are quite a few restaurants that are open on Thanksgiving - so I could go to one of these (though my experience is that the restaurants are absolutely packed on Thanksgiving, and not really geared for solo eaters). Or, my preference, is to get a meal to go. And I think I've narrowed it down to 2 choices: do I get a hot meal for 1 ($67) that I pick up on Thanksgiving Day, or do I get a family meal that supposedly serves 5 ($119) that I pick up before Thanksgiving and reheat at home. The second choice seems much better value for money, but I think the first choice is probably the better quality meal. What a dilemma. I'll make my mind up this weekend.
